Michael brings more than 30 years of technology experience to EnGrossed Advisory, with over two decades focused on enterprise cybersecurity in healthcare and financial services. He started the firm to close the gap between enterprise-grade security leadership and the organizations that need it most.

Before starting EnGrossed Advisory, Michael spent 15 years at Cleveland Clinic, most recently as Manager of Cybersecurity Intelligence from 2018 to 2025. In that role he built and ran the organization's Cyber Defense Fusion Center, directing a $10M+ annual security budget and bringing together threat intelligence, monitoring, incident response, and forensics under one team.

Before Cleveland Clinic, Michael spent more than a decade at PNC Bank (formerly National City Bank) in business resilience and network engineering. He designed high-availability architectures for critical systems including ATM networks and delivered infrastructure improvements that generated $500,000 in annual recurring savings.

At EnGrossed Advisory, Michael focuses on practical security leadership, including the responsible integration of AI into security operations. His work with agentic workflows for threat triage and incident enrichment has helped clients achieve a 40% average reduction in Mean Time to Respond (MTTR). He writes and speaks on AI security, quantum readiness, NIST CSF 2.0, and building security culture.
